Beloved creator of the Wizarding World J.K. Rowling announces she has fully recovered from her Coronavirus symptoms.
Revealing the news to her 14.5 million Twitter fans, she revealed that although she hadn’t been formally tested for the virus, she had been experiencing all of the known symptoms of COVID-19 over the past fortnight, including respiratory problems.
Included in her tweet was a link to a YouTube video which showed a doctor from Queens Hospital in Romford, United Kingdom explaining how you can relieve respiratory problems at home. In the video, he suggested various tips on breathing and coughing, whilst also urging viewers who are experiencing these problems to lay face down on a pillow, taking deep breaths for up to ten minutes.
Thank you for your kind and lovely messages! I really am completely recovered and wanted to share a technique that’s recommended by doctors, costs nothing, has no nasty side effects but could help you/your loved ones a lot, as it did me. Stay safe, everyone x

Luna Lovegood actress Evanna Lynch also announced on Twitter that she had recently lost her sense of taste/smell leading her fans to flock with messages of support. Tweeting to her followers, Evanna said “I know it’s probably a symptom of COVID-19, I’m fine and I’ve shut myself off from society!” She’s recently followed up with a tweet saying that her taste and smell have not come back yet.
Day 5 of having no smell or taste
Does it ever…come back? I miss candles. And knowing whether the post man has taken to shouting up to me from the street because of social distancing or because of body odour

Rowling’s Wizarding World continues to grow with the Fantastic Beasts film series which was recently halted like many other productions due to the virus.
Although Rowling’s diagnosis wasn’t tested, other well-known United Kingdom figures such as Prince Charles have tested positive for the virus and most recently, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson who is currently in intensive care.
Earlier this week J.K. Rowling and Wizarding World Digital launched Harry Potter at Home to help those who are self-isolating during the current world situation.
